Why Sound Thoughts?

Hello my friends,  First an apology for the delay. This has happened for a couple reasons. Obviously, my job and house are things that require most of my time and energy but still I was so thrilled to finally get the page underway!  I've been shopping around for just the right scanner that would accomodate extra large pinups or articles. Something else that is important to me is the format. It looks like the sky is the limit when it comes to Blogger's design dash. So I'm a little overwelmed. No worries, these past few months, I have had plenty of time to brainstorm ideas that I want the blog to offer! Just today I thought wouldn't it be cool if the blog had a Wilson Phillips Radio users could launch. This feature would randomly play the girl's entire discography including solo efforts, rarities, and of course the holidays tunes.

So Why Sound Thoughts? Well, any serious WP fan would know that among several names considered for their band's name was Sound Thoughts. Pretezels With Mustard, Leda, Ladies First, and even Nirvana were also considered! Also, if you were ever a member of WP's first fan club, you may recall the only newsletter published was entitled Sound Thoughts.  So having a blog to freely post and write anything WP, Sounds Thoughts is most fitting.

7 Jours

These pinup cards are from a French-Canadian teen magazine, 7 Jours (7 Days). When I saw Carnie and Wendy in concert in Connecticut, they were happy to sign them but no Chynna! Fortunately, when I saw the girls in L.A. , I finally was able to have Chy sign her card.  Every card is has fun facts on the back and are entirely in French. In addition to these cards also came another one with all three pictured (not posted yet) and full size pinup with article.
